The Jamaat is organising the A'maals of Laylatul Raghaib on Thursday 24th May 2012, in the MAINHALL between Maghrib and Eisha Salaat for both ladies and gents. Muallim Murtaza Bandali will conduct the A'maals.
Arrangements for Tea and Tabarruk (iftar) will be made after Magrib before A'maal
Please note, if you are staying for the A'maals, please do NOT park in Rugby Car Park. Please park your car in the Main Centre.

Dear Members and Parents,
Assalamu Alaymum.
On behalf of the Executive Committee of the KSIMC of London, we would like to convey our whole hearted and sincere thanks to all those members and parents that attended, contributed and participated in Safeguarding Children Discussion Forum that took place on 18th May 2012.
Alhamdullilah it was a good turn out of over 300 attendees.
Whilst this subject is one that is thought provoking, creating strong emotions amongst us all, Friday night's forum was approached with a mature, responsible and open minded manner by all those in attendance, as reflected in the fact that most were keen to extend the discussions for an extra hour until 11.30pm. InshaAllah this bodes well for our Community as we continue to take infant steps on the journey in to the realms of Safeguarding.
We look forward to further sessions being arranged in the future, by the soon to be formed Hujjat Safeguarding Panel. More on this over the next few days inshAllah.
We would also like to thank our Guest speakers who enlightened us with their expertise, words of encouragement and assistance in raising awareness as we look to take the next steps collectively in integrating safeguarding arrangements within the Community.

Bruce Marshall – Safeguarding Specialist (ex Met Police Detective responsible for investigating child abuse cases over 14 years)
Dr Abbas Khakoo – Consultant Paediatrician and Director of Paediatrics for NHS London and Hospital Lead for Safeguarding (Hillingdon)
Mohammed Sadiq Mamdani – Founder of Muslim Youth Helpline, Ansar Youth Project and Al Mizan Charitable Trust – extensive experience of working with child abuse victims
As mentioned last night, true Safeguarding is about more than just a series of polices, training and CRB Checks. Any policy and training is only as good as its application. Therefore we will have a role to play behaviourally, in order to ensure a Safeguarding culture within our community.

The Executive Committee of the KSIMC of London, cordially invite you to a “Safeguarding Children” Discussion Forum, to take place on Friday 18th May 2012 at our centre.
The programme will start at 8pm sharp, and would request that you arrive at the centre by 7.45pm, in order to ensure that we start on time.
The overall purpose of the event, an exploratory discussion with specialists on our safeguarding responsibilities and how we can integrate “safeguarding children” arrangements within the Hujjat Centre – KSIMC of London – as well as demonstrate compliance with various safeguarding obligations.

Salaat ul Mayyit will be prayed tomorrow Wednesday 16th May at 10.30am Burial will take place at Watford cemetery
