The first of Al Haadi Ladies’ Chai, Chat & Chill series took place last week, with three parallel discussion circles addressing the topic of Being a Muslim Woman in 2022.

Sister Fatema Meghjee led a riveting discussion on Feminism with the 18-35 year olds whilst Sister Maleeha Abdulla and Sister Azra Hassanali led interactive discussions with the younger girls over cosy crackling bonfires.

Of course, chai could not be forgotten at a Chai, Chat & Chill event, and was served alongside a “Make your own Shawarma” station!

To wrap up the night, a Creatives Corner was set up to provide a space to de-stress, socialise and continue the spiritual discussions, all whilst filling out adult colouring books and painting on canvases.
