The General Body of The KSIMC of London hereby grants the Executive Committee the mandate to enter into any contracts, obligations and/or arrangements and incur liabilities, including securing financing and generally to do such acts as may be appropriate and/or necessary to:

1. transfer Musgrave House, Widewater Place, Harefield, UB6 6NS (Musgrave House) from each of named trustee to a newly incorporated company named Musgrave House Hujjat Limited, wholly owned by (i) two nominee companies (acting under the control of the Executive Committee) pursuant to clause 15.4 or clause 15.5 (i) of the Constitution; (ii) one or more trust corporations pursuant to clause 15.4 or clause 15.5 (ii) of the Constitution; or (iii) the Trustees, to hold on behalf of The KSIMC of London pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution;

4. grant 36 residential leases (or more as needed) in Musgrave House once it has been granted superior leases for the same purpose

12. Election of the Electoral commission as per Rule 7.9

13. Any other business

Please note:

Item 10: Constitutional Amendments from the EC as advised by the CRC now includes a cover note to explain the document. Members are requested to read this for additional context and the EC welcomes questions, comments and suggestions by email in advance of the meeting to facilitate a smooth debate. Such questions, comments or suggestions can be sent to admin@hujjat.org where they will be forwarded on.

Item 11: has been amended for clarity but the substance remains as per the original notice. This is proposed by the EC and falls under Clause 6.9.10. Confusingly, the original notice suggested it was under clause 7.3 but proposed by the EC (which is inconsistent) and I apologise for any confusion this caused.

Item 12: Election of Electoral Commissioners was inadvertently missed from the original notice. Rule 7.9 states:

7.9 Save for the first set of electoral commissioners, the five electoral commissioners shall be elected by secret ballot at the AGM immediately preceding an Election. Notice will be included by the Honorary Secretary in the notice for AGM and all interested candidates will be able to stand on the day.

I apologise for not including this item in the original notice. InshaAllah interested candidates will still be able to attend and stand for election on the day of the AGM.

There were no motions received from members under clause 7.3

Subscriptions:

Please ensure your 2025 subscriptions are paid up should you wish to participate and vote at this AGM.

Light refreshments will be served
