Reconvened Annual General Meeting 2026

Further to our previous communication regarding the adjournment of the Annual General Meeting, we are writing to formally notify members that the Annual General Meeting of The KSIMC of London, originally convened on Sunday 19th July 2026, will be reconvened on Friday 18th September 2026.

The AGM was convened at the Husaini Islamic Centre, Stanmore, on 19th July 2026. As the required quorum of 50 members was not reached within half an hour of the appointed start time, the Chair adjourned the meeting in accordance with clause 6.3 of the Constitution. At the reconvening of the meeting, the Constitution provides that 30 members present in person shall form a quorum.

AGM: Immediately following Jamaat Salaat

The reconvened AGM will commence immediately following Maghribain Jamaat Salaat. Light refreshments will be available for members.

The relevant AGM documents will be shared with members in a further email ahead of the reconvened meeting.

Members are encouraged to review the documents carefully once circulated and to familiarise themselves with the matters to be considered at the AGM.

An Invitation to All Members

The AGM is open to all members, and we strongly encourage members from across our community to attend and participate.

As we continue to promote greater inclusion and participation across our Jamaat, we particularly encourage and urge our ladies to attend and participate in the meeting. It is important that the views, experiences and perspectives of our female members are heard and shared with the wider community.

We hope that members will make every effort to attend and contribute constructively to the discussions and decisions of the Jamaat.

Membership

Members are encouraged to ensure that they are up to date with their KSIMC of London membership, particularly ahead of the reconvened AGM.

Membership payments can be made online through the membership portal or at the Treasury desk at the Hujjat Stanmore Centre.

Spouses of family members are also reminded to check that their membership details are current and correctly recorded.
