YDD invites parents to register their children for the following Duas to recite in the respective Main Halls during Mahe-Ramadhan 1447 (2026):

• • 3 short Du’as (ages 5 to 11) – Boys and Girls

• • Dua Iftitah (ages 6 to 15) – Boys and Girls

• • Dua Jawshan Kabeer (ages 7 to 14) – Boys and Girls

• • Dua tawassul (ages 6 to 14) – Boys

• • Dua tawassul (ages 6 to 14) – Girls group recitation

• • Ziyarat Waritha (ages 9 to 15) – Boys Only

Auditions will begin during the month of Rajab.

Eligibility Criteria

• Reciters must be able to accurately recite the letters of the Quran with correct makharij.
• Those wishing to recite Dua Iftitah must be able to recite the entire supplication.
• For those reciting 3 Short Duas, the children should be able to recite/follow the Dua rather than reciting from memorisation.
• The children must be able to read and follow the Arabic text of the dua
• Reciters must be between
  • For Girls – 5 and 15 years of age during the holy month of Ramadan
  • For Boys – 5 and 15 years of age during the holy month of Ramadan

Please note that each child may recite only one supplication during the month. Participation in the hifdh program is not included in this process and the child can take part in it.
