Pursuant to clause 8 of The KSIMC of London’s constitution, the Executive Committee (EC) hereby gives notice today, 9 February 2025, for an Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) to be held on Sunday 9 March 2025 at 1pm (straight after Namaaz Zohr) to discuss the following items:

1. Recitation of the Holy Quran and translation thereof
2. Resolution passed at the last AGM of 2 June 2024:

“It is hereby proposed that the constitution of The KSIMC of London (Jamaat) be reviewed in its entirety at meetings with members called by the Secretary for this purpose and that all amendments agreed at such meetings to be proposed at an EGM to commence by 31 March 2025. Any proposed constitutional amendments be reviewed and approved by legal experts and the Charities Commission prior to the presentation at the EGM.”

Please note:
Pursuant to clause 8.4 of The KSIMC of London’s constitution, no business shall be transacted at an EGM other than that of which notice is given when calling the EGM.

Please ensure your 2024 membership has not lapsed should you wish to participate at this EGM. Light refreshments will be served.

This event will be held in person only at Hujjat Imambara, Wood Lane, Stanmore, HA7 4LQ.
