Queens School: Bushey
Queens School is set in 30 acres of playing fields. It has been accredited as a specialist sports college since 2003. In 2009, Queens won the Sports Colleges Award for Innovation. The site boasts extensive sports facilities including a new state of the art sports hall.

Powerleague
Powerleague 5-a-side football pitches are situated on the Queens School grounds, making them the ideal host for our football matches.

St Margaret’s School
St Margaret’s School is based just 2 miles from Queens, and will be hosting the swimming. St Margaret’s has a 25m luxury pool which has long been host to competitions and will be well suited to hosting both competitive and leisure swimming for us this year.

Accommodation

Stanmore Imambara, Wood Lane, HA7 4QL

We will have use of Stanmore Imambara on the Saturday night for anyone who wishes to stay over. This is usually a very popular option as it allows the girls to spend time together and socialise, and most people will probably bring their sleeping bags along and take this option. There are however alternatives close by should participants want to use them.

Premier Inn, Borehamwood, WD6 1US

Each of our rooms have; a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, Flat screen Freeview TV and Wi-Fi We have managed to secure promotional code prices for accommodation at the Premier Inn in Elstree/Borehamwood, just minutes from Stanmore and the other hotel. At £63 per double room, this hotel offers attractive rates but these are not reserved for MAMT so book soon!

Tournament Rules

1 All entries and payments to be submitted by the deadline. Any entry submitted after the 1 deadline will be subject to a late fee. The MAMT committee reserve the right to reject any entry considered to late for acceptance.
2 Behaviour deemed ‘unfit’ or ‘un-Islamic’ will not be tolerated. Any gross misconduct or swearing will be severely dealt with by the organising committee.
3 CoEJ and/or the relevant hosting Jamaat will not be responsible/liable for any mental or physical trauma or loss to participants and their belongings.
4 Changes and /or addition to any team and its players will not be allowed after play has commenced unless extreme circumstances occur. All other changes are at the discretion of the MAMT committee.
5 All teams will have to nominate a team captain. They, and their jamaat coordinator, will be the only people to raise any queries with the organising committee.
6 If a participant wishes to play for more than one team in a sport, e.g. they wish to play for a higher age group, this will count as an extra sport.
7 Participants are allowed to enter up to 3 sports, providing they do not overlap. In the case of a clash, participants will be asked to forfeit a sport.
8 The starting date of the tournament will be used to determine the age of the participants. Any player deliberately entering the wrong age category will be disqualified.
9 Participants may play for a team in a higher age bracket, but never a lower age bracket.
10 A player representing his team in singles may also play doubles in the same sport and vice versa, but this will be deemed as participation in two sports.
11 All participants are expected to register at the appropriate time slot allocated for registration in order to play. Players who do not personally register will not be allowed to participate.
12 Teams arriving late on the day shall be penalised as per the rules in their respective sport.
13 Two small Jamaats will be able to merge and submit a team to participate in the tournament.
14 Any rules not covered by this document shall be at the discretion of the MAMT committee and their decision will be final and binding.

Costs and Entry Details

Individual participant entry forms can be found at www.coej.org. These forms must be completed and returned to jamaat sports coordinators by 3 August 2012. Any forms submitted late will be subject to a late fee. Coordinators will be asked to provide team entry sheets after this deadline. Templates for this will be distributed in due course.

Coordinators are also asked to distribute the tournament rules amongst their participants.

Costs for participating in the tournament are as follows:

Under 16
Up to 2 sports: £10
3 sports (maximum): £15
PLUS: Nyaz: £10

16 and over
Up to 2 sports: £15
3 sports (maximum): £20
PLUS: Nyaz: £10
