“Indeed, we belong to Allah (swt), and indeed, to Him we return”
We have received very sad and shocking news from Toronto, Canada – Syed Asad Jafri has returned to the mercy of his Lord.
We had the honor and privilege of hosting Syed at our centre in October 2021 and learning from him during his January 2022 Ayyam Fatimiyah series. Many community members will fondly remember his time with us, where they had the opportunity to learn from his excellent lectures, experience his enigmatic character, and benefit from his continued wisdom and guidance.
Once again, the Muslim Ummah has lost a great scholar. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the community at large. Let us remember Syed Asad Jafri and all our marhumeen with a Suratul Fatiha.
