Further to the notice of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), sent out on 13th May 2023, please take note of the following:

1. Due to operational challenges, the venue has been changed to Hujjat Imambara, Stanmore, HA7 4LQ

2. For agenda item 10: “Motions on which due notice is given in accordance with clause 7.3” – any member wishing to propose a motion (which must be seconded by another member at the time of submission of the notice) at the AGM should give notice thereof in writing to secretary@hujjat.org by Saturday 20th May 2023, stating clearly the nature and substance of the proposed motion.

3. Members wishing to propose constitutional amendments should refer to clause 18 of the constitution whereby, notice for such amendments, require at least 6 weeks before the general meeting. Based on this requirement, no constitutional amendments can be tabled at the forthcoming AGM.
