
Theatrical performance: The Free Man
In: Latest NewsImam Hussain has become a global symbol of justice, sacrifice and peace. Amongst his companions was Hurr, a man who repented after having intercepted the path of Imam Hussain. His story has set a precedent of how REFLECTION and REPENTANCE can lead to FREEDOM of oneself from oppression, tyranny and injustice
The play will also focus on the role of women in Freedom, drawing upon the connection of Hurr with Lady Fatemah, mother of Imam Hussain.
The theatrical performance will be conducted by Ridhayatullah theatre, specialising in interfaith theatre
