Statement from The KSIMC of London: 14 Nov 2015In: Latest News
The Khoja Shi’a Ithna’Asheri Muslim Community (KSIMC) of London is deeply saddened to learn of the loss of innocent lives in Paris last night. We wish to convey our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victims.
We condemn these atrocities in the strongest terms. The Holy Qur’an teaches us that the taking of one life is equivalent to the murder of all of humanity. There is no justification for this barbarism and the KSIMC of London stands firmly opposed to the perpetrators of this violence.
Our thoughts, too, are with the victims of violence in Beirut and Baghdad, where yet more lives have been claimed this past week.
Wherever malice exists in the world, we must counter it through unity, compassion and an unbreakable resolve.
Our hearts are in Paris, Beirut and Baghdad tonight.
On behalf of the Executive Committee and Trustees
