As it is the month of Muharam, a month of Azadari the EC decided to invite the Ladies Seniors to go to Brookwood kabrastan to pay respects to the Murhumen and hold a majlis. The event had a very good turnout.

47 Seniors accepted the invitation and were transported in two coaches. The itinerary for the day included paying respects at the graves, majlis, matam followed by lunch, namaz, tea and cake. Alhamdulillah as usual with the generosity of the community donor’s expenses were covered for the coaches and niyaz.

A very successful event and all those who participated were pleased to have had the opportunity to visit Brookwood, some of whom had not visited before due to its locality. Participants look forward to us organising another event Inshallah.
