Resolutions passed at SGM: 4th November 2009

At the Special General Meeting (SGM) of KSIMC of London, held on Wednesday 4th November 2009, the following two resolutions were passed by the majority of those present:

Resolution 1:

In light of the anomalies at the World Federation Triennial Conference in Toronto in October 2009, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the KSIMC of London hereby deems the conference unconstitutional and thereby rejects the outcome of all business conducted at the Conference

Resolution 2:

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the KSIMC of London requisition, through the Council of European Jamaats, a Resolution that the World Federation of KSIMC call an Executive Council Meeting of the World Federation to solely deliberate convening an Extraordinary Conference within the next 120 days as required by Clause 9.2 of the World Federation Constitution, with a view to reconsidering all the business that was conducted at the Toronto Conference, in particular to the election of the office bearers and Councillors.
