Darul Qur’an: A divine conversation

In: Home Page, Hujjat, Latest News

Hujjat Darul Quran is pleased to bring you ‘A divine conversation’. Starting from 17th December 2020 – 1st Jamadi al-Ula, on a daily basis, a recording of 1 juz (siparo) of the Qur’an by the community’s own youths and reciters will be available via a YouTube link. Please recite along with it and maintain your link with the Holy Qur’an.

The Holy Prophet (s) has stated: ‘A person who does not have any of the Qur’an inside them is like a dilapidated house.’ (Mizan al-Hikmah)

The aims of this are:

  1. Build a relationship with the Qur’an.
  2. Improve your own recitation through regular listening and recitation.
  3. Reflect on the messages of the Qur’an.

Imam Zayn al-Abidin (a) has stated: ‘If all the people in the east and the west were to die, I would not feel lonely whilst the Qur’an is with me.’ (Al-Kafi)

To access the recordings please visit www.darulquranwalitrah.org

Hujjat Statement 18.11.20 – Centre repairs

In: Home Page, Hujjat, Latest News, News

      Dear Members

      Salam Alaykum

As you may all be aware, due to the recent rains and the consequent flooding, our Hujjat centre has been significantly damaged.

Alhamdullilah, we have secured funds from our insurance company to undertake immediate repair works.

To allow the contractors to carry out the various repairs, we must close the centre for a period of time. During this time, no activity will be permitted in the main building. However, the burial service will continue as normal.

We will InshaAllah keep you updated during the different phases of work and we pray for a successful completion. Measures to safely re-open the centre, subject to government COVID-19 guidelines, are currently being discussed by the EC.

We will continue to broadcast a diverse array of programmes on our Hujjat YouTube channels. Programme details can be found on the Hujjat Website.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and look forward to welcoming everyone back to centre as soon as possible.

      With Salaams and Duas
